With a career-high strikeout performance, Sam Friend has been named Co-Male Athlete of the Week - presented by Northwestern Mutual.

Friend registered a 3-1 win vs. California Baptist on April 27…posted a 1.17 ERA with a .231 batting average…struck out nine, walked four and allowed one earned run over 7.2 innings of action…scattered six hits.
